Hurricanes Came to school

"Hurricanes...Hurricanes!" All the kids yelled out as the four Hurricanes entered the hall. I waited in suspense as they entered the hall. When they walked in I saw four new Hurricanes players and I was really excited. I had never seen a Hurricane in my life before!

We won a competition to get the Hurricanes to come to our school. More FM were there as well. This is the video we made to win the competition on the radio.

We asked the Hurricanes a few questions, then they coached the Rippa rugby teams in a game. After that they went to Room 20 to spend the afternoon with those kids, because Charlotte in that class entered our school in the competition.

It was a pretty cool experience, and it was cool that our school won the competition. I hope we get to see them again one day!

Where I like to learn in GRi11 2.0

I like to learn with my friends in the hub because i get help from all my friends and i can talk to them wile i work, also i like to work by myself but also have the freedom of been able to talk to other people, I like the big open space so i can move around and play games with the class. also i like it when Mr R plays music wile we work. The big open windows are cool to, i like when the sun comes, You can also hear the teacher from the other side of the room, i like that i can work on the ground or on high tables or low tables, it close to all the the work shops so even if i'm going to the work shop i can sometimes listen in for new ideas, i really like the white broad tables so i can plan out my work on the table with out needed to get paper, and the ping pong table because it makes me feel like in the Olympus.The hub is the best place to learn for me because it can be a social room as well as a silent room if you want it to be silent then you go to a corner and work quietly by your self.If you also want it to be a social room then you can seat with your friends and talk while you do your work.Its also totray to get to the computer room so i can be the first to get the new computers and it gives you a head start your work if you have 30 secs to get on with your work.Most of the time i am first to the boys totray because there in the area so if i have to get anything from my mulit i can go and quickly get my stuff and get on with it. The hub is totray purpose room you can talk,be silent and you can be both. The hub is the best place for me because if i have a lot of work to do then i can go to a silenint spot and crack on. I love the hub its the best place for me and its where i get most of my work completed so i dont have to stay in at lunch.
